Cebu, Philippines – Albuera, Leyte Mayor Rolando Espinosa Sr’s son Kerwin has left for Malaysia nine days prior to Duterte’s inauguration.
It was thought that Kerwin has set foot on Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on June 21 as per immigration records but no data was shown in traces of return flights.
According to Senior Supt. Frank Simborio, Leyte police director, said that Kerwin allegedly was the main man in a so called “family enterprise” that is operating the illegal drug trade in the Eastern Visayas.

The younger Espinosa could have been in other destinations aside from Malaysia and the authorities are looking at the possibility to capture him in Hongkong or Singapore.
Philippine National Police spokesperson Senior Supt. Dionardo Carlos told reporters that, “Let’s see. There are other places being mentioned, so we will be in constant communication with the investigators to know about his whereabouts, if he is still in our country. Probably this is one information they can take as a lead also.”
Mayor Espinosa on Tuesday, admitted that his son is into the illegal selling of drugs and urges him to surrender.
PNP Chief Ronald ”Bato” Dela Rosa has asked Kerwin to surrender or get killed as the suspect’s life is in danger.
