Maritez Flor was released, ASG scared of Digong’s “day of reckoning”?

Maritez Flor, the lone Filipina hostage of the Abu Sayyaf has been freed early Friday after nine months of captivity, a day Duterte’s shocking statement in a business meeting in Davao City.

Flor, the Filipina girlfriend of the beheaded Canadian Robert Hall was released around 4:30 a.m. today and was dropped by her captors in front of the Sulu Governor Abdusakur Tan II in Barangay Asturias.

According to reports, Flor was freed on Thursday evening, but was only turned over to Sulu Governor on Friday morning.

Reports earlier noted that there are two more hostages left among those are Norwegian Kjartan Sekkingstad. The Filipina and four victims were kidnapped from a resort in the Island Garden City of Samal. Flor was captive for nine months and three days

Returning Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process Jesus Dureza fetched Flor in Jolo, both arrived in Davao City Police Office past 2pm where she will be presented to incoming President Rodrigo Duterte.

Inquirer published the text message of Dureza states, “Marites (is) with me now. (We) just (landed) in Davao. Norwegian release still being arranged,”

“I cannot do it just immediately. But there will be a time, there will be a reckoning. And when it comes, I will just say ‘Surrender unconditionally. Release all prisoners, hostages or we fight’.”, Duterte said.
